SAP HCM Test Analyst HR Systems Quality Assurance

At HR Services, we provide cross-divisional transactional HR support through our global network of HR Shared Service Centers in close alignment with the HR function. While payroll services are the biggest share of our portfolio, we provide many other important transactional services along the employee lifecycle.

We are looking for a HR Quality Assurance Specialist for our team, the role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of changes made to HR technology solutions, primarily within SAP HR and Payroll environments.

The role combines business understanding with hands-on testing activities and requires strong analytical, investigative, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional and Regression Testing:

• Review change requests and understand business requirements.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for HR system changes.
• Validate configuration and development changes before production deployment.
• Verify that enhancements meet business requirements and do not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Identify, document, and track defects and testing outcomes.
  
  
  

• Assess the impact of system changes across HR and payroll processes.
• Ensure changes function correctly across dependent processes and system components.
• Support business acceptance testing activities and provide recommendations for release readiness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing standards and quality practices.
  
  
  

• Prepare and maintain testing documentation, test protocols, and quality records.
• Document existing processes and support the standardization of testing practices.
• Contribute to knowledge management initiatives and process documentation.
  
  
  

• Work closely with developers, HR business stakeholders, change managers, and operations teams.
• Support issue investigation and resolution through effective stakeholder communication.
• Participate in project activities related to HR technology enhancements and system improvements.
  
  
  

• Bachelor's degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing, functional testing, quality assurance methodologies
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Experience performing regression testing and defect validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience documenting testing activities and outcomes.
  
  
  

• SAP HCM, SAP HR, SAP Payroll, or other ERP testing experience.
• Experience working in HR technology environments.
• Exposure to payroll, time management, workforce administration, or related HR applications.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Experience working in global or multicultural environments.
• Exposure to test automation tools or automation initiatives
• German language will be an added advantage.
