SAP ABAP Developer – S/4HANA & Public Cloud

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, and OData V2 (mandatory). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Private/On-Premise development environments, with proven capabilities in building RESTful integrations, SAP Fiori applications, RAP-based services, CDS Views, and Adobe Forms.

The role involves designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications with a strong focus on clean architecture, scalable integration solutions, coding best practices, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications using Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
• Design and implement OData V2 services using:
• SEGW
• DPC/MPC extensions
• Deep Insert
• $expand
• Batch Processing
• Develop REST-based integrations using SAP HTTP client classes and APIs.
• Build and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with OData services.
• Work on SAP EWM development and related enhancements.
• Design and implement CDS Views:
• Basic Views
• Composite Views
• Consumption Views
• Develop applications using RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
• Implement enhancements using:
• BADI
• User Exits
• Enhancement Spots
• Implicit/Explicit Enhancements
• BTE
• Routines
• Develop, enhance, and support Adobe Forms.
• Optimize application performance using:
• SQL Trace (ST05)
• Runtime Analysis (SAT)
• Work on integration scenarios involving:
• REST APIs
• SOAP Services
• RFC
• OData
• Develop and support solutions in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments, adhering to SAP clean-core principles and cloud extensibility approaches.
