Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Specialist to help maintain and enhance the quality of our sales and market data. This role focuses on managing data integrity within Salesforce, conducting research on renewable energy projects, and supporting reporting and analysis for our sales and marketing organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical and organizational skills with a curiosity for data and a passion for accuracy that enables better decision-making across the business.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Download, organize, and update monthly datasets from public renewable energy databases.
  • Research and enrich project records with key details (e.g., ownership, interconnection voltage, and operational details) before entering or updating them in Salesforce.
  • Maintain high-quality data across Salesforce and Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) for Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Campaigns, and Renewable Energy Projects.
  • Perform ongoing data cleansing, deduplication, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across sales and marketing systems.
  • Conduct regular data validation and update activities through internet and industry news research—confirming company mergers, acquisitions, rebranding, project sales, and closures—to ensure all records accurately reflect current market conditions.
  • Support campaign segmentation, list management, and nurture tracks to improve lead quality and engagement.
  • Use tools such as Seamless.ai to enhance prospect and account data.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and contribute feedback for continuous process improvement.

Required Qualification & Education

  • 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or Data Management.
  • University degree.
  • Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to verify and validate data using web, database, and industry research to ensure up-to-date and reliable records.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate insights from data.
  • Experience managing and optimizing data in Salesforce.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required Software Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM (Reports, Dashboards, and Data Management).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with data enrichment platforms (e.g., Seamless.ai) a plus.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with data ETL (Export, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Experience with U.S.-based teams or clients.
  • Previous experience in renewable energy a plus.
