ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
Join Ujjivan Small Finance Bank's SOUTH MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES DLSCF department as a key client relationship professional responsible for managing and expanding the bank's portfolio of small and medium enterprise clients. This role demands a strategic approach to client engagement, credit assessment, and portfolio management to drive business growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Duties And Responsibilities Of The Role
Develop and maintain strong relationships with MSME clients to understand their financial needs and provide customized banking solutions.
Conduct thorough credit appraisals and risk assessments to evaluate loan proposals in alignment with the bank’s credit policies.
Manage the end-to-end loan lifecycle including application processing, documentation, disbursement, and monitoring of accounts.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the MSME segment to achieve assigned portfolio growth targets.
Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, operations, and compliance to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Monitor client accounts regularly to identify early warning signals and implement proactive measures to mitigate credit risks.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on portfolio performance, client feedback, and market trends for senior management review.
Educate clients on the bank’s product offerings, digital banking platforms, and financial literacy to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
Represent the bank at industry events, local business forums, and community outreach programs to strengthen brand presence and network.
Ensure strict compliance with all internal controls, audit requirements, and statutory regulations governing MSME lending.
Educational Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relationship management or credit roles within the banking sector, specifically dealing with MSME clients.
