Regional Sales Manager - Chennai

About RentOk: Indias renting superapp — a SaaS platform that helps PG owners, hostels, and co-living operators run their entire rental business without daily chaos: rent collection, tenant management, complaint tracking, digital agreements, all in one app. Building for the 15M+ rental properties still run on WhatsApp groups and paper registers.

Role Summary: Runs cities, owns team performance not just personal revenue. Builds the playbooks, and review cadences that make results repeatable across the region, and closes the deals the team cant. A multiplier, not just a great seller.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 3–5 TSMs/ASMs across the region, know everyones pipeline at any time

• Go on field, uncover the market, generate leads and close deals

• Use multiple lead-gen strategies to grow bed acquisition across the metro; open new micro-markets

• Assess every new hires ramp early, coach or course-correct quickly

• Close large, multi-stakeholder deals (owner, ops head, accountant) independently

• Build at least one city-level sales playbook a new hire can execute without starting from scratch

• Own the regions outcomes end to end: revenue, demo quality, onboarding quality, retention

What Were Looking For

• 4+ years in field sales, at least 1 year managing a team or a city P&L

• Demonstrated ability to build and scale a repeatable sales process

• Strong coaching instincts — comfortable giving direct, written feedback

• Has personally closed complex, multi-stakeholder deals

Salary Budget

• Fixed Salary - INR 60,000 - INR 1,00,000 Per month
