QC- Chennai

This position will be accountable for the following objectives at given work area:

• Conduct & supervise all kind of Testing’s of all packaging materials, Incoming raw materials, finished products(chemical & physical analysis) as well as final release of products as per the standard / specification laid down in company’s quality plan.
• Conduct trend analysis of system and suggest improvements that can drive overall efficiency and improved compliance.
• Ensure all Quality records pertaining to Bill of Material (BOM) verification in Navision, QC Inspection, and Final Batch Release along with issuing Test certificate are retained.
• Ability to decide and make Batch Corrections for ongoing production batches to bring the product well within the desired target results.
• Proper knowledge of IS Standards and test procedures as per IS-9103 & IS-2645. Maintaining the records and documents as per the requirement of IS licenses.
• Ability to encounter and face ISO & IS audits.
• Co-ordination of QC & Safety programs.
• To keep track of calibration records & maintain schedule for calibration with completion in time.
• Maintenance of product specification along with Product control curve (PCC) on regular basis & to review regularly for it’s deviation.
• Maintaining QC awareness of the business context including budgeting control issues.
• Working with purchase, Logistic & R & D, Marketing department to establish quality requirement.
• Follow the existing QC procedure & initiative to improve it for better efficiency.
• Certifying the Final Product, Standardizing, Operation, Maintenance & validation of Data for all kinds of Laboratory equipment.
  
  

• Good Mechanical Aptitude and equipment troubleshoot abilities.
• Well versed with Safety Protocols & PPE’s
• Basic Math skills and the ability to compute decimals and percentages
• Computer Skills :: Microsoft office & Navision( desirable)
• Good Oral and Written Communication skills
• Ability to work with a flexible Schedule and weekends if needed.
• Good knowledge of Concrete Admixtures, Cement Grouts, Curing Compounds, Accelerators/Activator etc.
• Respect & follow the safety principles & usage of PPE’s as per the company’s guidelines.
