Responsibilities

Perform manual QA testing of new and existing features for mobile applications (iOS & Android), web applications, and cloud platforms.

Execute functional, regression, end-to-end, and basic performance testing across supported platforms.

Create, execute, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements and user stories.

Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools (JIRA preferred).

Perform root cause analysis for identified issues and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.

Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are properly closed after verification.

Review functional requirements and user stories to ensure adequate test coverage.

• Participate in regression testing cycles and support release validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Product teams.
• Maintain accurate test documentation and contribute to QA best practices.
  
  

6-Month Accomplishments

Independently create and execute test cases and test scenarios.

Participate actively in regression and release testing cycles.

Identify and report high-quality defects with clear reproduction steps.

• Gain strong understanding of product workflows and QA processes.
• Demonstrate ability to handle assigned modules with minimal supervision.
  
  

12-Month Accomplishments

Take ownership of testing tasks for assigned features or modules.

Improve existing test cases and regression coverage.

Act as a reliable QA contributor within projects.

Collaborate effectively with developers to resolve issues.

• Suggest improvements to QA workflows and testing efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.

Hands-on experience testing mobile applications (iOS & Android) and web applications.

Experience Using Bug Tracking Tools (JIRA Preferred).

Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.

• Experience creating and executing test cases and regression testing.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
