Project Manager - Software Development

Your Tasks

• Manage new development projects inside Global Engineering focused on Software activities across the different Nordex portfolio platforms, assuring budget, quality and timeline of the project.
• Processing the project scope with interdisciplinary project teams (mainly but not limited to Engineering and Service).
• Evaluation of project ideas and support up to approval.
• Align schedule and scope of own projects across the product platform with other project managers.
• Report as well as escalation to relevant committees.
• Coordination of the necessary resources with line and project managers.
• Coordination of technical aspects and risk management.
• Organization of prototype tests and ramp-up activities in the operation areas.
  
  

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or similar.
• Project Management experience required (PM certification preferred).
• Several years of experience in wind turbine industry, preferably on electrical and control functions.
• Very good MS office skills (including MS Project Server).
• Experience in an ERP and PLM system advantageous.
• Preferred experience in the wind power industry.
