Join our Project Management Office in Chennai/Gurgaon


We are a renowned engineering consulting firm, focused on delivering excellence in project execution through effective project and contracts management, quality assurance, document control, risk assessment, and project controlling. As a Project Coordinator, you’ll work with our global team of experts to support Project Managers in delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects. You’ll be involved across all project phases — from planning to completion — ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. This role reports to the Head of Project Management Office in India and supports projects anchored across COWI globally.


On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Support PMs in planning, monitoring, and forecasting — including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Track changes, risks, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, agendas, and documentation.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and project requirements.
  • Monitor project financials and performance metrics (earned value, reporting).
  • Ensure adherence to COWI’s Project Management procedures and quality standards

Moreover, you have:

  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Mechanical or related) 3-7 years’ experience supporting PMs in engineering/construction project execution within Consulting, EPC, Infrastructure, Buildings, Renewable Energy or Oil & gas sector
  • Strong grasp of project management principles – work breakdown, earned value, project plans.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical, adaptable, and collaborative mindset with sound decision-making skills.
  • PMP certification or similar is an advantage.
