Job Description

The role of a Project Co-ordinator is pivotal within any organization, playing a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This position demands a person who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. As a Project Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the project manager in executing various tasks, facilitating communication among stakeholders, maintaining project documentation, and coordinating resources. It's a dynamic role that requires you to be flexible, adaptable, and proactive to handle the fast-paced and challenging nature of project work. An ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and be capable of multitasking in order to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in planning and executing project tasks and activities.
  • Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth project workflow.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans and reports.
  • Monitor project progress and regularly update timelines and schedules as needed.
  • Organize, attend, and follow up on project meetings and minutes.
  • Identify and address any potential issues or risks affecting project outcomes.
  • Ensure all team members have a clear understanding of their responsibilities.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members and project stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and financial tracking.
  • Support the implementation and use of project management tools and software.
  • Gather and analyze project data to contribute to post-project evaluation reports.
  • Coordinate procurement of resources and materials necessary for project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a project coordination or support role is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate project needs proactively.
