The Program Manager (PM II) will own a defined program within Digi-Flex Variable, managing entire program framework across Music Videos, Bands-In-Town, Titleset, AM4A, X-Ray, and Preferred ASIN. The programs are s in an early build-out phase: the PM will partner with Product Managers to define the process scope and goals for each workflow, align on coverage, and only then determine the operational volumes required to support it. Working independently and seeking direction as needed, the PM drives delivery against these established goals; partnering with Catalog Program Owners, Product, Science, and Technology teams to improve workflows, adopt AI-enabled solutions, and deliver measurable operational efficiency and quality gains.
This is a tactical, execution-focused role with cross-team influence, reporting to the Digi-Flex Variable program lead. The program strategy is defined; the PM is accountable for scoping the processes, driving them to delivery, mitigating risk, and clearing blockers.
Key job responsibilities
Program Scoping, Ownership & Cross-Team Delivery
Partner with Product Managers to define the process scope, responsibilities, and goals for each workflow (Music Videos, BIT, Titleset, AM4A, X-Ray, Preferred ASIN); align on coverage, then determine the operational volumes required to support it.
Own the defined program end-to-end once scoped; manage difficult, cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
Partner with Catalog Program Owners, Product, Science, and Tech teams to scope efforts, set priorities and milestones, and drive delivery to deadlines.
Serve as the operational point of contact between operations teams, business stakeholders, and partner organizations; make sure the right people are in the conversation.
Accelerate progress by driving crisp, timely decisions, identifying and clearing blockers, and escalating appropriately.
Workflow Improvement & AI Enablement
Identify automation opportunities within program workflows; reduce manual effort and improve throughput and quality.
Partner with Product, Science, and Tech to pilot and adopt AI-assisted workflows across catalog operations.
Identify legacy workflows and tools that can be consolidated or sunset to reduce complexity.
Establish mechanisms to measure realized benefits from automation and AI investments.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
Apply process-improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen) to optimize cross-team processes that improve team efficacy and delivery.
Standardize SOPs, controls, documentation, and best practices across supported workflows.
Manage roll-outs, including testing and launch readiness; own post-launch support plans (post-mortems, issue/ticket management, COEs where needed).
Keep scope under control, plan for the unexpected, and ensure outcomes are maintainable without thrashing partner teams.
Governance, Risk & Communication
Own all program communication — clear, concise status summaries to management, with the ability to answer questions in detail.
Proactively identify risks, control gaps, and dependencies; develop and drive mitigation plans (path to green).
Contribute to and help prepare Weekly and Monthly Business Reviews; support QBR inputs for leadership.
Ensure operational readiness for launches, process changes, and transitions.
Metrics, Insights & Customer Experience
Determine whether success metrics are in place; where they are not, work to define them.
Track KPIs for program health, operational efficiency, quality, and business outcomes; translate data into actionable recommendations.
Use operational metrics and customer anecdotes to identify continuous-improvement opportunities and reduce turnaround times.
