Job Description
- Skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer/Analyst to join our growing analytics team.
- In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that transform raw data into actionable business insights.
- You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service)
- Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language)
- Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, normalization, relationships)
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
- Develop and optimize data models using Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, cloud platforms, APIs, etc.)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage user access/permissions Optimize report performance and troubleshoot data refresh issues
- Publish and manage content on Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, and scheduled refreshes
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and processes
- Provide training and support to end-users on self-service BI tools
- Stay current with Power BI updates, features, and industry best practices
- Partner with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines feeding into BI solutions
