About this opportunity:

We’re hiring a senior Platform Engineer (JS7) to design, operate and evolve our platform and CI/CD systems with a strong focus on system-level testing, automated test pipelines, and rapid troubleshooting of complex platform and integration issues. You’ll enable safe, fast delivery by building resilient infrastructure, repeatable pre-production environments, and reliable gates that catch real-world failures before release.

What You’ll Do

• Lead design and operation of CI/CD platforms, automated test pipelines, and environment provisioning.
• Own system-level test strategy: end-to-end, integration, resilience, performance and upgrade testing in production-like conditions.
• Build and maintain reusable test harnesses, environment templates, and test data workflows to make system testing fast and repeatable.
• Integrate test tooling (FFS simulator, JMeter simulator ) into pipelines and promote automated pre-release gates.
• Optimize pipelines for speed and reliability: parallelization, smart test selection, flaky-test detection/quarantine and cost controls.
• Apply strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to quickly identify root causes across distributed systems, pipelines, network/configuration, and test artifacts.
• Instrument and analyze telemetry from tests and platform components; drive remediation and reliability improvements.
• Mentor engineers on test automation practices and participate in incident response and blameless postmortems.
  
  

The skills you bring:

• 10+ years in platform/DevOps/test engineering with demonstrable ownership of CI/CD, platform services and test automation.
• Strong coding/scripting skills (JavaScript/TypeScript plus Go, Python, or Java).
• Deep experience designing and running system-level tests (E2E, integration, performance).
• Solid experience with Cloud-Native Infrastructure (CNI) and Container Platforms (Kubernetes, RHEL OpenShift and Ericsson CCD).
• Familiarity with CI tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Proven troubleshooting skills in distributed environments and debugging pipeline/build/test failures.
• Experience with observability and telemetry (Prometheus, Grafana, tracing).
• Strong communicator, owner mentality, and collaborative mindset.
