About The Role

Chargebee's partner ecosystem is growing, and the quality of how we build, activate, and sustain partner relationships is what determines whether that growth converts to revenue. This role is the connective tissue of the global partner team.

As Partner Program Manager, you will own the systems, processes, and relationships that make our partnerships work in practice. You will work across every stage of a partner's lifecycle, from the moment we decide to bring a new partner on, through to the moment their integration is live and generating commercial value. You will also manage a defined portfolio of partner relationships directly, developing trusted connections with partner stakeholders and ensuring Chargebee is their preferred partner to work with.

This is a role for someone who likes to build, who thrives in cross-functional environments, and who takes personal pride in making complex things run cleanly. You will work closely with the partner managers, product, legal, and sales, and your fingerprints will be on every partnership Chargebee activates.

What You Will Do

• Partner Onboarding & Activation
  
  

Build and own the onboarding process that takes a new partner from signed contract to commercially active. Coordinate across legal, finance, product, and partner stakeholders to ensure nothing blocks a partner from going live.

• Partner Portfolio Management
  
  

Manage a direct portfolio of partner relationships, acting as Chargebee's face to those partners. Build genuine relationships with partner stakeholders, maintain regular touchpoints, and ensure each partner has clarity on how the relationship with Chargebee is evolving.

• Cross-Functional Programme Management
  
  

Own the coordination of partner-related workstreams that cut across multiple internal teams. When a new integration is being built, when a contract needs to progress, or when a partner programme needs to be launched — you ensure there is a clear owner for every action, a deadline everyone has agreed to, and a way to surface blockers before they become delays.

• Partner & Customer Experience
  
  

When issues arise between partners, customers, and Chargebee — whether commercial, technical, or operational — you are the person who ensures they are resolved swiftly and professionally. You coordinate the right internal teams, communicate clearly with the partner or customer, and ensure that every escalation is handled in a way that deepens rather than damages the relationship.

Required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 3+ years of experience in partner programs, partnerships, or commercial operations in a B2B SaaS environment.
• A track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder processes — including experience working with legal, product, or commercial teams to drive cross-functional outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable corresponding with partner executives and internal leadership alike.
• Highly organised with a strong bias for process, documentation, and follow-through. The kind of person who writes things down, tracks what they own, and doesn't let things fall through the cracks.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM, project management tools, and G-Suite.
• AI-native working style: actively and habitually uses AI tools to improve the quality and speed of their work. Can demonstrate specific, practical examples.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in a fintech, payments, or tax compliance partner ecosystem.
• Familiarity with SaaS commercial models: referral agreements, revenue-share, co-sell motions.
• Experience coordinating international partner agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
• EMEA market experience; European language skills (French, German, or Nordic) a strong plus for EMEA-based candidates.
