About the Role

The Operations Specialist – Retail Assets Operations will be part of the Central Disbursal and Payment Unit, supporting the Credit Operations team in booking retail loans and managing related post-disbursal activities. This includes handling inventory funding, pre-disbursal cancellations, master maintenance of location data, onboarding of DSAs/Dealers, and managing their payouts. The role requires a strong understanding of loan documentation, process efficiency, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage loan disbursal (booking), payouts, onboarding, and post-disbursal activities for all retail products.
• Ensure thorough understanding and handling of loan documentation across various products.
• Drive quality and SLA adherence within the unit.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Focus on automation and digitization to improve process efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time (TAT).
• Promote a culture of compliance and uphold the bank’s code of conduct.
• Take initiative to recommend and implement best practices for process improvement.
  
  

• Prepare and maintain various MIS reports.
• Coordinate daily with branches and CPAs for issue resolution.
• Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for automation-related processes.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system requirements or modifications.
  
  

• Graduation: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  
  

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in loan operations, disbursal, or credit operations.
  
  

• Strong knowledge of retail loan disbursal and post-disbursal processes.
• Familiarity with loan documentation and system workflows.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
