Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Murex Market Risk Consultant with strong expertise in Market Risk Management, Capital Markets, and the Murex MX.3 platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Murex Market Risk modules, risk analytics, and financial derivatives. This role involves collaborating with global stakeholders, supporting risk management initiatives, and delivering solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and enhance Murex MX.3 Market Risk solutions.
• Analyze and manage market risk metrics, exposures, and risk reporting processes.
• Work closely with risk managers, traders, business analysts, and technology teams to gather and implement requirements.
• Support risk calculations, scenario analysis, VaR, stress testing, and sensitivity reporting.
• Ensure accurate risk measurement and reporting across various financial products.
• Participate in Murex implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of risk-related issues.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders operating in the EST time zone.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Document functional specifications, configurations, and process workflows.
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in Market Risk, Capital Markets, or Risk Technology.
• Hands-on experience with Murex MX.3, particularly Market Risk modules.
• Experience working in investment banking, capital markets, or financial services environments.
• Experience supporting risk management and regulatory reporting initiatives.
