About The Role

The 3PL division of Express Global Logistics is looking to hire a Inplant warehouse manager to manage end-to-end operations of a warehouse that primarily Raw Materials stores operations with line feeding activity for production. The warehouse manager will be responsible for setting up the operations, delivering against customer SLAs, managing manpower, vendor management, safety and compliance. Achieve 100% KPI

Roles And Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations of inplant RM stores operations with line feeding.
• Manage smooth unloading of material, put away, GRN creation and logging in the system
• Ensuring material feeding to production line ontime without any production loss.
• Managing manpower and MHEs to ensure resources are utilized efficiently
• Ensuring stocks are reconciled on a monthly basis
• Creating and implementing SOPs for all activities within the warehouse
• Share regular MIS reports with the customer
• Manage timely dispatch of material through efficient loading onto the vehicle
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production requirements while minimizing carrying costs and waste.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory records through effective tracking and control measures
• Minimize inventory shrinkage due to theft, damage, obsolescence, or other factors
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely and efficient material flow from suppliers to the production line
• Optimize in-plant logistics processes to reduce delays and ensure materials are readily available for production
• Working closely with the production team to understand their material requirements and schedules.

• Optimizing the material flow process to reduce material handling and transportation time.
• Streamline warehouse and put-away processes to optimize space utilization and accessibility of materials.
• Achieve 100% KPI / SLA
• Enhance order fulfillment accuracy and speed to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Implement and monitor lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Just-in-Time (JIT)) within the in-plant store to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Implement and maintain robust quality control procedures for maintaining the hygiene of the warehouse and its operations.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety and environmental regulations within the in-plant store operations.
• Manage and motivate a team of in-plant store staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Invest in training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the in-plant store team.
• Follow-up for all MIS to customer and to EXG internal Team has to flow on time daily/weekly / fortnighty / monthly / Quarterly / Half yearly & annually.
• All information must be updated to both customer & Exg based on their relevance
  
  

• Education: Graduate/Post Graduate preferably in the field of Management studies
• Work Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in the Warehouse Management, Logistics or 3PL
• Competencies: In plant stores operations in any Manufacturing experience is required, strong knowledge on managing warehouse operations, good communication skills
• Advanced skills: Knowledge of SAP, MS Office and WMS
