Facilitate innovation and lead a global engineering team

As Manager – Mechanical Engineering (Cable Accessories), you will lead a team of skilled engineers, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of mechanical design solutions for high-voltage cable accessories.

You will be responsible for strategic planning, resource management, and a culture of innovation and collaboration. Your leadership will directly affect project talent development and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Lead and manage the Accessories Engineering team, ensuring alignment with global objectives
• Oversee project planning, tender preparation, and product development activities
• Facilitate competency development and performance management within the team
• Collaborate with international stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the department
  
  

You will report to the Sr. Manager – Accessories Engineering and the Operations Head – HVS KKA G3C. The role is based in Chennai, with occasional travel as required.

Strategic Leader With Global Engineering Experience

You also have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 20+ years of industrial experience, including 8+ years in team management and international collaboration
• Deep knowledge of mechanical design, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with cable accessories such as terminations, joints, and hang-offs.
  
  

Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PLM systems
