Summary:

As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving model architectures and datasets to improve the accuracy and contextual relevance of the models. The workday includes iterative testing, analyzing model outputs, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the models meet the desired performance standards in diverse applications. Attention to detail and a focus on enhancing user experience through tailored model behavior are central to daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead the development and implementation of fine-tuning strategies to optimize model performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align model capabilities with project goals.
  • Mentor junior team members to support their growth and integration within the team.


Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Strong understanding of instruction fine-tuning techniques and domain adaptation methodologies.
  • Experience with natural language processing frameworks and tools relevant to large-scale model training.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret model outputs to guide iterative improvements.
  • Familiarity with data preprocessing and augmentation strategies to enhance model training.
  • Competence in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to integrate model solutions effectively.


Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • This position is based at our Chennai office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
