Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise for LAN, WAN, Firewalls, DNS, Loadbalancers
• Monitor and Mentor Network engineers in respective shifts
• Translate decisions into practical guidelines, policies and implementation plans.
• Oversee & Maintain department KPIs / KSIs
• Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
  
  

Required

Profile required

• Graduate
• Active CCNA mandatory, knowledge on Security mandatory
• Knowledge on appliances will be added advantage
• Knowledge on cloud / Data will be added advantage
• Excellent written and Verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure related to scale of business impact
• Drive high priority incidents from GNOC along with the experts
• Report on the operational health of the global connectivity infrastructure, driving improvements where needed working closely with our external service providers.
• Provide technical consultation to internal business partners.
• Prioritize incidents across the shifts towards resolution. Provide Queue management 24x7
• Be the Liasion between the feature teams & GNOC on various initiatives
• Own and drive various department initiatives including but not limited to automation, noise reduction, new service offerings.
• Assume product ownership within department
• Drive shift standup calls / other governance calls for the team
