Job Title: Lead Business Analyst (Digital Transformation)

Location: Chennai

Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst – Digital Transformation to lead business transformation initiatives across FMCG, CPG, and enterprise business functions. The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and implementation partners to identify process improvement opportunities, drive digital initiatives, and deliver technology-enabled business solutions. The role requires expertise in business analysis, ERP transformation, process excellence, and digital technologies to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Drive and manage end-to-end digital transformation initiatives across business functions.
• Develop and implement business transformation strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead a portfolio of digital initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, and operational

• Partner with business and technology leaders to drive enterprise-wide transformation programs.
  
  

Business Analysis & Solution Delivery

• Lead requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for digitalization and continuous
  
  

improvement.

• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user
  
  

stories, process flows, and use cases.

• Collaborate with solution architects, development teams, and business stakeholders to deliver
  
  

effective business solutions.

• Ensure business requirements are aligned with project objectives and organizational goals.
  
  

Process Analysis & Improvement

• Evaluate business processes to identify gaps and recommend optimized solutions.
• Drive process standardization and business process improvement initiatives.
• Define KPIs and success metrics to measure business outcomes.
• Support ERP transformation and enterprise application initiatives to improve business operations.
  
  

Technology Enablement

• Support implementation of enterprise digital solutions, workflow automation, analytics, and
  
  

reporting platforms.

• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration of business applications.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, automation, and analytics, to improve business
  
  

performance.

• Work closely with ERP implementation teams to support successful solution delivery.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and implementation partners throughout
  
  

the project lifecycle.

• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support business readiness activities.
• Provide post-implementation support and drive user adoption through training and change
  
  

management.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay updated on digital transformation trends, ERP innovations, automation, and business analysis
  
  

best practices.

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology and innovation.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement across business functions.
  
  

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer
  
  

Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.

• MBA, MCA, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
  
  

Experience Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, ERP Implementation, or
  
  

Business Process Excellence.

• Experience in FMCG, CPG, Retail, Distribution, or similar industries is preferred.
• Proven experience leading business analysis activities and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and enterprise applications.
• Willingness to travel to Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and South Africa as required..
  
  

Technical Competencies

• Strong expertise in business analysis, requirement gathering, and functional documentation.
• Experience in preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, and use cases.
• Strong understanding of business process optimization and ERP transformation.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, AI-driven analytics, and workflow automation is an added
