JOB DESCRIPTION - JR. FINANCE EXECUTIVE

Job Summary

The Finance Operations Executive will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our project planning and corporate finance teams. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing expense compliance, managing operational disbursements, and tracking project-based assets, human resources, and project-specific allowances. The ideal candidate will look beyond just the "text" of a policy to understand its "spirit," ensuring rigorous financial discipline and accurate project-level cost accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Expense Management & Policy Compliance
  
  

Review and audit daily expense report submissions from project and operations teams.Monitor and track regular Phase 1 and Phase 2 expense submissions from non-operational (corporate) business units.Track and validate food allowances strictly in accordance with finalized company policies.Enforce company expense policies stringently across all operational and corporate expense reports, ensuring compliance and flagging anomalies.

• Operations Liaison & Project Cost Allocation
  
  

Act as the primary liaison between the Project Planning and Finance teams to maintain clear visibility on employee project allocations.Verify Field Service Associate (FSA) utilization rates and ensure accurate time allocation across projects.Identify, compute, and allocate food allowance costs at the project level on a monthly basis to ensure precise project costing.Track the deployment and movement of robotic assets across various projects to facilitate precise depreciation and maintenance cost tracking.

• Attendance & Fund Disbursement Management
  
  

Oversee and verify the daily attendance management of contract workers.Manage the weekly advance disbursement process for contract workers and interns (acting as the approved internal pass-through mechanism, adhering to company policy).

• Treasury & Performance Support
  
  

Support the Senior Executive Finance with operational finance requirements.Assist in cash flow planning for upcoming project-related employee advances.Provide data and support to analyze and improve overall project financial performance.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Graduation in Finance (B.Com, BBA Finance, or equivalent).1 to 1.5 years of experience in a similar operations finance or accounting role.Prior experience working in a Chartered Accountant (CA) office is a strong plus.Hands-on experience with Zoho Expense or similar expense management applications is highly preferred.

Sharp Analytical Mind: Ability to apply policies and rules critically and understand the underlying intent/spirit of a policy, rather than just reading it literally.Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing receipts, food allowance logs, and asset trackers.Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaison between field operations, project management, and corporate finance.Speaking fluency in Hindi will be a very key skill set that will help with role success.
