Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices following enterprise architecture and coding standards.
Design and implement event-driven and asynchronous applications using Kafka or Solace/MQ.
Develop Kafka producers/consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, and message-processing workflows.
Work with Solace PubSub+ / MQ for reliable messaging and event distribution, where applicable.
Implement business logic, data processing, error handling, and exception management.
Ensure applications are scalable, highly available, secure, and performant.
Participate in the complete SDLC including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Troubleshoot application, API, microservices, and messaging-related issues.
Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
Perform code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
Implement unit and integration testing using appropriate Java testing frameworks.
Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud/containerized application deployments where required.

6+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Solid experience developing Microservices-based applications.
Strong experience developing REST APIs and service integrations.
Hands-on experience with Kafka OR Solace/MQ.
Good understanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Experience with Git and standard software development practices.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
