Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interior trim components such as:

  • Coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, tooling, purchasing, and suppliers.
  • Implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure timely release of CAD data.
  • Support prototype builds and production issue resolution.
Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in CATIA V5.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of injection molding and plastic part design.
  • Familiarity with automotive interior systems and trim attachment methods.
  • Knowledge of tolerance stack-up and DFMEA is an advantage.
  • Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter or ENOVIA is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
  • Typically 2–8 years of experience in automotive interior trim design.
