Job Description – Staff Nurse (ANM) – OPD

Job Summary

We are looking for ANM-qualified Staff Nurses to provide quality nursing care and support patients in the OPD department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to OPD patients.
  
• Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
  
• Record patient vitals and maintain nursing documentation.
  
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
  
• Assist with dressing, wound care, and basic nursing procedures.
  
• Maintain OPD equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  
• Monitor patients and report any changes promptly.
  
• Follow infection-control, safety, and hygiene protocols.
  
• Maintain patient records and coordinate with doctors and hospital staff.
  
• Provide courteous and compassionate patient care.
  

Requirements

• ANM qualification from a recognized institution.
  
• 1–3 years of experience as an ANM/Staff Nurse, preferably in OPD/hospital settings.
  
• Valid nursing registration as per applicable norms.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Patient-focused, responsible, and willing to work in a hospital environment.
