Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Has primary accountability for the performance and results of a plant, significant area or sub-function
  • Must be at least responsible for a significant area or multiple teams
  • Has budget or revenue target responsibility
  • Executes functional business plans and may provide input to the development of functional strategy
  • Ensures corporate image is demonstrated in area of responsibility
  • Guided by functional strategy, impacts results of sub-function, business unit or region or facilitates the work done by other functions by providing support to impact the business
  • Executes functional business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy
  • Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced analytical thought process and judgement
  • Decision making involves complex problems that require extensive research, analysis and evaluation of multiple variables
  • Negotiates with and influences others internally and externally; including senior executives within the company and vendors/or regulators

Keys to Success

  • Requires comprehensive understanding of internal and industry standards, as well as of the changing business environment
  • Applies broad industry expertise and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance across sub-functions

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • 3+ Direct Reports
  • Provides leadership and direction through Managers and Sr Managers
  • Leads a sub-function, typically through subordinate managers of manager
  • Has full leadership, performance management and people development responsibility for managers or high level individual contributors to build a strong sub-function

Requirements And Preferred Skills

  • 15-20 years of experience
