The Opportunity

Join our High Voltage GIS manufacturing team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of world-class Gas Insulated Switchgear products. As a GIS Factory Testing & Documentation Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting factory routine and acceptance testing, preparing and validating test documentation, supporting customer inspections, and driving quality excellence throughout the manufacturing process. You will work closely with engineering, production, project management, and global stakeholders to ensure products meet customer expectations and international standards while promoting a strong safety culture

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Perform routine, functional, mechanical, electrical, and acceptance testing of GIS products in accordance with applicable standards and customer specifications.
  • Prepare, review, validate, and release factory test reports, inspection reports, and quality documentation for factory clearance activities.
  • Develop and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), quality plans, test procedures, method statements, and risk assessments for project execution.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and coordinate customer witness inspections to ensure successful project deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC standards, customer requirements, internal quality procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Identify quality concerns, analyze root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve process performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, project management, and service teams to resolve testing and documentation issues.
  • Promote a Safety-First culture by ensuring adherence to EHS requirements and identifying opportunities for risk reduction.
  • Continuously improve testing, inspection, and documentation processes to enhance quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Your Background

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in GIS, High Voltage Switchgear, Substation Equipment, Factory Testing, Quality Assurance, or related manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) products, testing requirements, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in routine testing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), inspection planning, and preparation of test documentation and reports
  • Good understanding of IEC standards, high-voltage testing practices, and electrical safety requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong analytical, problem- solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in a multicultural global environment.
