Job Description – General Manager (Hotel Operations)

CTC: ₹30–35 LPA (Including Variable)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations of the hotel and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
• Drive guest satisfaction and maintain high service standards across all departments.
• Manage the hotel's Profit & Loss (P&L) and ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
• Prepare and monitor Annual Operating Plans (AOP), budgets, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Lead and mentor departmental heads while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee Food & Beverage operations to maximize revenue and guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with ITC Hotels' brand standards, statutory regulations, and SOPs.
• Drive business development initiatives, local marketing, and revenue generation strategies.
• Monitor operational KPIs including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP, guest satisfaction scores, and cost ratios.
• Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and local stakeholders.
• Identify talent, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager.
• Strong exposure to Food & Beverage operations is mandatory.
• Experience managing hotels with multiple F&B outlets and banquet facilities.
• Experience handling hotel budgets, P&L, and business performance.
• Prior experience with reputed hospitality brands such as ITC Hotels, Marriott, Hyatt, Taj, Oberoi, Accor, Hilton, IHG, Lemon Tree, Radisson, etc.
• Experience in business development and driving hotel profitability.

Additional Information

• Tamil speaking is mandatory.
• Candidate should be willing to relocate to Hosur.
• Initial 15 days of accommodation will be provided by the hotel; thereafter, the candidate will need to arrange accommodation independently.
