Who Are We

Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented UI Developer who possesses a deep understanding of visual design principles and a strong passion for crafting modern, polished user interfaces. While your primary strength lies in UI aesthetics and pixel-perfect implementation, you should also be comfortable handling essential frontend development tasks.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and technology, ensuring our web applications are not only highly functional but also visually stunning and intuitive.

What You’ll Do

UI Craftsmanship & Design Fidelity

• Pixel-Perfect Translation: Transform high-fidelity Figma/Adobe XD designs into clean, responsive, and production-ready web screens.
• Design Consistency: Maintain absolute consistency across layouts, typography, spacing, color hierarchies, and component behavior.
• Micro-Interactions: Implement subtle animations and transitions to elevate the overall user experience.
• Design Systems: Build and maintain reusable UI components, contributing to a scalable internal design system.
  
  

• React Implementation: Handle frontend development tasks using React to bring static designs to life.
• API & Logic Integration: Implement basic state management, frontend logic, and REST API integrations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless digital experiences.
  
  

• Experience: 0–2 years of experience / Proactive Fresher.
• Portfolio Requirement: A strong UI-focused portfolio, GitHub repository, or live personal projects demonstrating clean UI code and design accuracy is highly valued.
• Deep UI Expertise: Exceptional understanding of UI principles, visual hierarchy, layout design, typography, grids, and responsive design patterns.
• Core Framework: Solid, hands-on experience building web interfaces with React.
• Design Tool Literacy: High familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design handoff tools.
• Component-Driven Architecture: Strong understanding of reusable components, atomic design concepts, and clean layout techniques.
• Basic Frontend Mechanics: Practical understanding of REST API consumption and basic state management in React.
• Eye for Detail: An obsessive eye for catching UI inconsistencies, alignment issues, and font discrepancies.
  
  

• Utility Frameworks: Experience with modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS, styled-components, or Material UI.
• Web Motion: Familiarity with animation libraries (such as Framer Motion, GSAP, or CSS keyframes).
• Modern Web Standards: Basic exposure to web accessibility (WCAG) standards and performance optimization.
