Sales & Business Development

• Achieve and exceed the assigned sales targets for the designated territory, industry or market segment.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities through prospecting, customer referrals, networking, digital platforms, inbound leads and cold calling.
• Develop and execute territory-specific sales action plans to drive business growth.
• Conduct customer meetings, product presentations and commercial discussions to generate new business.
• Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer queries, ensuring timely resolution by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Deliver a superior customer experience through regular engagement and proactive support.
• Follow up with customers to ensure timely collection of receivables and Earnest Money Deposits (EMDs), as applicable

Technical & Product Expertise

• Develop comprehensive technical knowledge of the assigned product portfolio and its applications.
• Provide technical guidance and product demonstrations to customers.
• Stay updated on industry developments, competitor offerings and market trends to effectively position Anton Paar solutions.

Pipeline & Opportunity Management

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date opportunity pipeline in the CRM system.
• Ensure a healthy pipeline with sufficient opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts and monitor project progress through the sales cycle.

Marketing & Market Intelligence

• Support and participate in marketing initiatives such as seminars, webinars, conferences, exhibitions and customer engagement programs.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback, market intelligence, competitive insights and new business opportunities to relevant internal teams.
• Identify emerging market trends and recommend strategies to strengthen Anton Paar's market presence.

Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate updating of CRM records, customer interactions and sales activities.
• Submit periodic sales reports, forecasts and other business updates as required.

• Adhere to company policies, processes and quality standards while representing Anton Paar.

  Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in scientific instrument sales, technical sales.
• Experience in analytical instrumentation or laboratory equipment sales will be an added advantage
