Job Description

We are looking for an experienced English Teacher to join our teaching faculty. The role involves planning and delivering engaging English lessons, tracking student progress, and contributing to the academic and co-curricular life of the institution. The teacher will work closely with the academic administration team and fellow faculty to maintain consistent teaching standards across the department.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum, adapting content to different learning levels (differentiated instruction)
Maintain classroom discipline and a productive learning environment
Conduct formative and summative assessments to track student progress
Mentor and counsel students on academic and personal development
Facilitate critical thinking and discussion-based learning
Collaborate with other departments on academic planning and school-wide initiatives
Maintain accurate records of student performance and share updates with parents/guardians as required

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in English, Education, or a related field; B.Ed. preferred

Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the relevant grade level

Strong command over English language and literature

Proven classroom management and lesson planning skills

Experience with student assessment methods (formative and summative)

Good interpersonal skills for student mentorship and parent communication

Ability to work collaboratively within a academic team
