As an Engineer - Engines (FD) within our Product Development team, your primary responsibility will be conducting finite element modelling (FEM) of engine and transmission components and systems to support the Farm Divisions product development efforts. This involves detailed analysis and simulation using state-of-the-art tools to ensure the strength, durability, and performance of powertrain components under various operating conditions. The ideal candidate brings 6 to 8 years of proven experience in the automotive industry, specialising in finite element analysis and powertrain engineering. Your expertise should encompass a strong track record in performing detailed simulations and structural analyses of engine and transmission components using diverse industry-standard CAE tools. Specifically, you should have: Your background should demonstrate an ability to integrate simulation results into practical engineering insights, supporting design validation and continuous improvement within a fast-paced automotive development environment. This position primarily serves the automotive and off-highway vehicle manufacturing sector, especially focusing on farm machinery within the Farm Division of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Candidates with experience in the following industries are highly preferred: Exposure to integrated product development environments incorporating advanced CAE simulation tools and collaboration with cross-disciplinary engineering teams will be considered highly advantageous.
