As our new Software Test Engineer, you will be designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software for innovative pump and water technology products within our Research & Development organization. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Product Development Software Engineering team, you'll create impact by Building the embedded and connected software solutions that make Grundfos products smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable for millions of users worldwide.
Your main responsibilities include:
Develop robust automation test frameworks using Python for embedded systems.
Exposure to interface & handle PCBs and embedded devices.
Design and maintain scalable, modular, and secure test scripts adhering to Python best practices.
Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools.
Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues across Windows and Linux environments.
Contribute to version and configuration management processes.
Identify and implement best practices in the team with respect to test
Contribute to enhancements of existing test architecture and framework
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a collaborative and detail-oriented software engineer with strong fundamentals in embedded or application development and a drive to build products that matter. We would also imagine that you have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of professional software development experience using C, C++, or Python
Strong command of Python, with hands-on experience in Pytest or similar frameworks.
Basic electronics knowledge, including handling and interfacing with PCBs.
Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating system
Exposure to version control and configuration tools: Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory.
Experience with Jenkins pipelines, JobDSL scripting, and CI/CD automation.
Understanding of C/C++ development environments is a plus.
Experience working with tools like DOORS, Pure Variance.
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Hands on with PLC programming, scripts is an added advantage
