The Change Lead for Banking will be responsible for delivering a scalable fit for purpose, client-focused, best-in-class product capabilities supported with robust system applications.
Key Areas Of Responsibility Include
Be the SME for ongoing and upcoming strategic initiatives in the Bank, including but not limited to:
Strategic Tech Transformation
Process Simplification / Reengineering
Straight Through Processing
Optimising and simplifying operational capability and improve service effectiveness through simplified, scalable product delivery in Banking.
This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to work collaboratively across departments, and a keen understanding of change management principles.
Strategy
Propose well-articulated proposals for strategic initiatives and be the responsible ’Single Point Of Contact’ (SPOC) to drive its delivery to the business and functional stakeholders in Banking.
Support new business enablement initiatives covering E2E client lifecycle and execution processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to revise operating and organisational models and to objectively review standards and quality of support provided.
Present updates to QPRs/NFRCs to seek endorsement on proposed initiatives, progress in delivering agreed initiatives and any horizon risks emanating from the change initiatives.
Business
Effectively cover product owner responsibilities in Banking.
Ensure project management and business analysts requirements to deliver an effective Product Owner role are sufficiently met.
Ensure effective product delivery and horizon risk views is delivered continuously.
Run prioritisations of deliverables and effective budget management across transformational and incremental change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Processes
Collaborate with Business and Operations teams, including Global Process Owners to review existing processes with a lens to reengineer towards a relevant process model enabled via automation that is further augmented with AI.
Ensure cross border deal execution and operations settlement related processes remain fit for purpose to support scaling business.
People & Talent
Manage and mentor juniors, ensuring they are aligned with project goals and are effectively contributing to the success of change initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Risk Management
Lead and manage change initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business goals.
Conduct impact assessments and develop change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and seeking input as needed.
Governance
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support the implementation of change initiatives and ensure stakeholder engagement.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
