Dynatrace Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Observability Engineer with 5 years to implement, maintain and optimize our enterprise monitoring ecosystem. You will work closely with engineering teams to enhance system visibility, build automation and ensure application reliability.

Requirements

• Experience: minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in performance monitoring and observability engineering.
• APM Platforms: Proven hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Dynatrace and alternative APM tools.
• Open Telemetry: Practical experience instrumenting diverse data sources to transmit traces, metrics, and logs to target endpoints.
• Automation: Strong proficiency in writing and maintaining automation scripts using Python and Shell.
• SRE Partnership: Experience collaborating with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Cloud Infrastructure: Solid understanding of monitoring resources within cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
• ITSM & CMDB: Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations, specifically leveraging CMDB data for contextual alerting.
• Certification (Preferred): Dynatrace Associate or Professional certification is highly desirable.
