Detailing Engineer

Qualification: Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical or ITI in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical

Experience: Minimum experience in Transmission Line Tower Detailing for 2 Years.

Location: Chennai.

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Detailing Engineer – Transmission Line. The Draughts Person/ Detailing Engineer shall be capable of carrying out drafting activities for Transmission Lines Towers, Civil Foundations and Structures. He/She shall have reasonable creativity in generating the Layout in complete manner and capable of suggesting alternatives/modifications with proven expertise in the design and engineering of transmission line towers, foundations, and gantry structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive Specifications and Single line Diagram from Design Engineers Team
• Check the detailing Feasibility after receiving the design Line diagram
• Prepare GA drawing using AUTOCAD or BOCAD
• Prepare SHOP drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Check and Finalize General Arrangement Drawing and SHOP drawing
• Release GA and SHOP Floor drawing for PROTO Assembly
• Resolve issues pertaining to Proto deviation in Assembly
• Release drawings to factory for Mass Production Technical Expertise:
• Drawing preparations. Knowledge of Different types of towers, tower parts, insulators, Accessories of towers, Stub & Stub setting templates.
