Data Scientist – Chennai (AI/ML & BFSI Focus)

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that drive enterprise sales acceleration and business transformation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems through data-driven decision-making, risk intelligence, personalization, and predictive modeling, with a focus on financial services.

Advanced AI/ML Modeling – Develop and optimize machine learning models for risk assessment, fraud detection, customer intelligence, and hyper-personalization.

AI Productization – Translate AI/ML concepts and experiments into scalable, production-ready solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Data Strategy – Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify data opportunities and develop AI-driven use cases aligned with business objectives.

Innovation & Thought Leadership – Explore emerging AI/ML techniques, build prototypes, and contribute to client presentations and technical discussions.

Cross-functional Collaboration – Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver AI solutions, share knowledge, and contribute to best practices.

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and applied AI, preferably in BFSI or similar data-rich industries.
  

• Strong academic foundation in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  

• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  

• Experience developing, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models at scale.
  

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  

• Ability to translate business challenges into practical AI/ML solutions with measurable outcomes.
  

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  

• A proactive mindset, passion for experimentation, and eagerness to explore emerging AI technologies.
  

• Based in Chennai, with flexibility to travel for client discussions and collaborations.
