Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to lead our data analytics initiatives leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role will be responsible for driving data-driven decision making across the organization, managing analytics teams, and ensuring the effective utilization of SAP BTP capabilities for advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions.

Strategy
- Standard Chartered Bank is seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Data Analytics Manager to lead and oversee data analytics initiatives on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, cloud technologies, and SAP tools, with proven leadership skills to manage teams and deliver high-quality solutions.
Strategic Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a team of data analysts, business analysts, and data scientists
- Develop and execute data analytics strategy aligned with business objectives
- Drive digital transformation initiatives through advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify business opportunities through data insights
- Manage multiple analytics projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
SAP BTP Platform Management
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Business Technology Platform
- Manage SAP BTP services including SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and HANA Cloud
- Ensure effective integration of SAP BTP with existing enterprise systems and data sources
- Drive adoption of SAP BTP capabilities across business units
- Collaborate with IT teams on platform governance, security, and compliance requirements
Data Analytics & Insights
- Design and implement comprehensive analytics solutions using SAP BTP tools
- Develop advanced reporting and dashboard solutions for executive and operational reporting
- Lead data modeling initiatives and ensure data quality across analytics platforms
- Drive self-service analytics adoption across the organization
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure business performance and analytics ROI
Team Development & Collaboration
- Mentor and develop team members technical and analytical capabilities
- Foster a data-driven culture across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Risk, Operations, and IT
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party analytics service providers
- Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation of analytics processes
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements
- Implement data security and privacy controls in analytics solutions
- Establish and maintain analytics standards and best practices
- Manage data lineage and ensure audit trail capabilities
- Support regulatory reporting and compliance initiatives
Governance
Ensure compliance of regulations, policies, and requirements of the In-Scope countries

Skills And Experience
- Minimum 14 years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Minimum 7 years of people management experience leading analytics teams
- Proven track record of implementing enterprise-scale analytics solutions
- Experience in financial services or banking industry preferred
Technical Skills
- SAP BTP Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, HANA Cloud, and BTP integration services
- Analytics Tools: Proficiency in advanced analytics tools and programming languages (SQL, Python, R)
- Data Management: Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling
- Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and SaaS implementations
- Business Intelligence: Expertise in BI tools, dashboard development, and self-service analytics
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior executives
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Project management experience with complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
