Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and student-focused Career Counsellor to join our Chennai team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, understanding their career goals, explaining aviation courses and career opportunities, and supporting prospective students throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students and parents regarding aviation courses, eligibility, career opportunities, and career pathways.Understand students' interests, educational backgrounds, and career goals.Explain course curriculum, duration, fees, career prospects, and placement-related information accurately.Handle enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.Maintain regular communication with students and parents throughout the counselling and admission process.Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions and assist students in selecting suitable courses.Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding experience.Maintain enquiry, follow-up, and admission records.Participate in seminars, school/college visits, education fairs, and promotional activities when required.Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.Build strong relationships with students, parents, and prospective candidates.

Required Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong counselling and convincing abilities.Good presentation and active-listening skills.Customer-focused and approachable personality.Ability to explain information clearly to students and parents.Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, WhatsApp, and CRM tools.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Fluency in English and Tamil is preferred.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.Prior experience in career counselling, education counselling, admissions, tele-counselling, or sales is preferred.Candidates with aviation/education-industry experience will have an added advantage.Fresh graduates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills may also be considered.
