Job Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Experience in handling Domestic and Import Suppliers.
- Knowledge in Precision machined, Plastic and Rubber Parts procurement.
- Timely issuance of Purchase Order to suppliers and coordinate direct shipments of Parts to factory.
- Communicate with suppliers for PO acknowledgement and confirmations and update the same in ERP system.
- Follow-up, or expedite parts to ensure customer requirements are met and ensure on time delivery.
- Send delivery performance to suppliers and work with non-performing suppliers for improvement.
- Work with suppliers to improve their flexibility to support surge and project orders.
- Evaluate and determine best shipment mode to optimize logistic cost.
- Maintain pricing and resolve pricing discrepancy to avoid delay in GRN and payment issues.
- Escalating supplier delivery issues timely and work with alternate sources for mitigation plan.
- Reconcile open PO and Inventory for subcontract materials.
- Work with suppliers on the Demand-Pull Inventory (DPI) to stabilize the material inflow
- Continuously monitor the supplier performance to meet the RSDL of 95%
- To identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes
- Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.
- Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum of 5+ years of purchasing / procurement / supply chain experience
- Excellent computer skills and a technical aptitude that includes strong data gathering skills, expertise, interpretation and reporting for supply chain organization.
- Sound communication skill to deal with suppliers (domestic and global)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data analysis and management.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Diploma, B.E/B Tech or any Equivalent degree
- Knowledge in ERP systems like Fourth shift, Oracle is preferred
