Business Valuation - Assistant Manager Sr Lead Analyst

Experience: 5 - 7 years in Business Valuation

Job Description:

Valuation Analysis & Modeling:

• Perform comprehensive business valuations using the three approaches: income, market, and asset and applying multiple methodologies within each approach (e.g., discounted cash flow and capitalization of earnings; adjusted net asset method; and guideline public company and guideline transaction methods)

• Develop and maintain complex financial models incorporating discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.

• Conduct industry and economic research to support valuation assumptions and conclusions

• Analyze financial statements and normalize historical performance data

• Research and analyze market data, including public company comparable and transaction multiples.

Project Management & Supervision:

• Work under the supervision of partners, senior managers, and managers on valuation engagements.

• Manage multiple valuation projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

• Coordinate with internal team members to gather necessary information and data.

• Ability to follow written (emailed) instructions and provide written responses as team is located across many time zones; flexibility to accommodate occasional meetings outside of normal working hours

• Ensure all work products meet firm quality standards and professional guidelines

Documentation & Reporting.

• Prepare detailed valuation reports that clearly communicate methodologies, assumptions, and conclusions

• Create executive summaries and supporting schedules for complex valuations

• Prepare work papers to support valuation conclusions and comply with professional standards.

• Review and quality-check work performed by junior team members
