Position Overview

The Business Head – PA role anchors focused and integrated business efforts to drive excellence across Market, Technology, Production, Compliances, Systems, and Competition Strategy. This leadership position reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for steering the business towards aggressive growth and operational effectiveness on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan grounded in strong value propositions to drive growth in key target segments.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and growth areas.
• Define and develop attractive market opportunities through comprehensive marketing programs.
• Provide ongoing market intelligence to maintain deep knowledge of target markets.
• Manage procurement processes and strategies to ensure effective sourcing and risk management.
• Coordinate and resolve purchasing issues related to raw materials and chemicals, maintaining strong communication with production plants and vendors.
• Identify new raw material sources, negotiate pricing, and ensure compliance with purchasing procedures.
• Coordinate global quality audits with customers, preparing plants to meet audit expectations and sustain positioning.
• Identify, develop, and champion new value-added technologies, products, and services in collaboration with customers, technology, and sales teams.
• Lead and mentor sales and business development teams, driving performance and accelerating new business closures.
• Provide guidance and leadership to support new business opportunities and foster team career growth.
  
  
  

• Education: Chemical Engineering; MBA is an advantage.
• Experience: 15 years in Commodity Chemicals.
• Leadership: Managed teams of 15–25 members; direct reporting to CEO.
• Technical Expertise: Expertise in PA Technology, commodity chemicals marketing, procurement, global quality audits, and market analysis.
• Soft Skills: Demonstrated executive presence, strategic agility, business acumen, team building, influencing, negotiation, inquisitiveness, appetite for risk, problem solving, and customer focus.
