Job Title: Key Accounts Executive - Business Development

Location: Chennai

We take industrial products from development to serial production—handling New Product Development (NPD), contract manufacturing, and second-source programs. Powered by a proprietary digital platform, we coordinate a network of 33 committed manufacturing partners selected from over 900 qualified Indian suppliers, serving customers across 19 export markets. Our core focus segments include energy, power electronics, EV charging, and precision manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company
• Addressing and resolving key clients’ complaints
• Acting as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
• Supervising the account teams assigned to each key client
• Communicating and collaborating with the key stakeholders in each department to ensure that key client needs are met.
• Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts towards sales and business development.
• Developing a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions
• Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfillment of each client's long-term goals
• Seeking out domestic and international clients and obtaining leads from them
• Oversee and interact with the key overseas customers.
  
  

• Engage with select Customer Groups and establish rapport with the Key Stakeholders
• Identify potential, cross selling and consolidation in select Customer Groups and map the same for a rolling 18-24 Month period.
• Identify Margin, Revenue and other Indirect Expense reduction opportunities in the assigned accounts.
• Visit Customer POCs and critical vendor partners to identify bottlenecks and improve operations working alongside Expeditors, NPD and Sourcing Engineers.
  

• Work with assigned leads to effect for conversion in a 3 month window.
• Warm up the leads bucket assigned to create pipeline for conversion in the immediate 3 months post warming up.
  

• Gain exposure to CRM, FAQS and Zoho Books
• Understand Frigate’s Custom modules and practices to enable KAEs and Expeditors quicken their TATs.
