About The Job

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer – Node.js with 6+ years of experience in cloud-based backend development. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, API development, backend architecture, performance optimization, concurrency, and caching, with experience building resilient, scalable, and high-performing enterprise applications.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, contributing to enterprise-grade and cloud-native applications.
• Design and optimize API services, applying performance tuning, concurrency management, caching strategies, and resiliency practices to improve scalability and reliability.
• Optimize PostgreSQL performance through query analysis, indexing strategies, efficient data access patterns, and database optimization.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams on solution architecture, technical design, code reviews, frontend integration, and production troubleshooting.
• Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, performance optimization, observability, technical documentation, and engineering best practices.
  

What We Seek In You

• 6+ years of backend application development experience in cloud-based environments with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, API design, system design, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Proven experience with API performance tuning, concurrency management, caching strategies, scalability, resiliency, and high-availability backend services.
• Advanced hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL, including query performance analysis, index optimization, query refactoring, database design, data modeling, and large-scale data processing.
• Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications, with strong debugging, root-cause analysis, production troubleshooting, and performance optimization capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of load testing, performance benchmarking, application monitoring, observability, logging, and performance management, with AWS cloud exposure as an advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and modern cloud-native application development.
• Exposure to load testing, scalability testing, application monitoring, observability, and performance management tools.
• Understanding of frontend integration and API consumption patterns.
