We are looking for Senior Backend Developer - Node JS

What You ’ll Do

• You will join our high-performance engineering team and contribute to building, optimizing, and stabilizing scalable backend platforms and enterprise-grade applications in cloud-native environments.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders on solution architecture, design, and implementation initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Refactor backend services and optimize application performance to eliminate bottlenecks and improve system reliability.
• Enhance database performance through query optimization, indexing strategies, and efficient data access patterns.
• Build and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available API services to support enterprise applications.
• Implement performance tuning, concurrency management, caching strategies, and system optimization techniques.
• Drive improvements in application scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between backend systems and frontend applications.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
• Document optimization strategies, implementation approaches, and technical solutions to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and maintainability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, engineering best practices, and performance-focused development methodologies.
  
  

What We Seek In You

• 6+ years of experience in backend application development within cloud-based environments.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript with experience building and scaling enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and API design principles.
• Hands-on experience with API performance tuning, concurrency management, and caching strategies.
• Advanced expertise in PostgreSQL database optimization including query performance analysis, index optimization, and query refactoring.
• Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and large-scale data processing systems.
• Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, system design, and software engineering principles.
• Experience working with scalable cloud-native applications and modern backend development practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering teams.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of load testing methodologies, performance benchmarking, and scalability testing practices.
• Experience with application monitoring, observability, logging, and performance management tools is preferred.
• Basic understanding of frontend integration concepts and API consumption patterns is desirable.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
