Job Title: Consultant – Automation Test Engineer

We have an immediate and urgent requirement for a Python Embedded Engineer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 6+ Years

Duration: Contract 1 year (extendable)

Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust automation test frameworks using Python for embedded systems.
• Work with and interface PCBs and embedded devices for testing purposes.
• Design and maintain scalable, modular, and secure test scripts following Python best practices.
• Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues across Windows and Linux environments.
• Contribute to version control and configuration management processes.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in Pytest or similar frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, including handling and interfacing with PCBs.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with version control and configuration tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines, JobDSL scripting, and CI/CD automation.
• Understanding of C/C++ development environments (preferred).
• Experience with tools like DOORS and Pure Variance is a plus.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
