JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our Middle East and Africa team as Assistant Manager/Team Lead – EPC projects who will manage Inside Sales business/People Management and use your engineering skills and Fisher Software to prepare engineering solutions for Control valves to large KOB1 & 2 EPC projects support for our clients/sales offices. You will also be responsible for preparing techno-commercial offers and addressing technical queries. This role is responsible for managing, training young engineers and ensuring optimum support for stakeholders.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Leading a team of engineers, guiding and mentoring them.
  • Train New hires and integrate them into the Middle East and Africa quote support team.
  • Reviews the quotations prepared by team members, suggests cost saving opportunities wherever possible, and evaluates the best solution options.
  • Driving team towards FCV MEA KOB1/2 business target for the financial year.
  • To be an expert in sizing & selecting severe service, critical applications and guiding other engineers.
  • Manage workload, performance review of sub-ordinates & manage metrices for the team
  • Established as one of the contact points for specific EPC’s/End users to send projects.
  • Diligently maintain and report records of all work done.
  • Check quotations based on MIB strategy made by less experienced engineers and document errors and act as a mentor in the team
  • Monitor RDSL, PDSL, Productivity & RFT performance for the sales/regional teams supported
  • Analyze RFQ scope & resource availability and commit to a deadline.
  • Setting KRAs for direct reports and preparing an action plan to develop them as per their career aspirations
  • Handle internal training programs
  • Readiness for Inhouse engineer support
  • Able to handle all severe service applications
  • Independently handle Quote to commit process
  • Experienced to handle TBE meetings with customers independently.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A degree in engineering and experience in leading the team.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of control valves sizing & selection.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creating portfolios as evidence for your competency element as part of structured continued further education in engineering.
  • Awareness of internal and industry standards as related to position responsibility.
  • In Depth understanding of project specifications and commercial terms. Optimizes work processes and improves performance metrics (Preferred).
  • Knowledge on MIB strategies related to product and project specifications

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to pitch the solution for applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ready to take up any new challenges.
  • Min 8+ yrs Experience in Handling large projects and Inhouse engineering experience.
