We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Assistant Manager to join the team in our Chennai office.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR TEAM.

As part of the Assurance team, you’ll work with some of the nation’s leading private equity, hedge, and other alternative investment funds. You’ll gain valuable knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and use it to deliver the comprehensive transaction, fund, and portfolio company audit, tax, and value creation solutions. As a result of the unique organizational structure of most private investment funds, you’ll collaborate with other CohnReznick industry and service line team members to deliver outstanding technical and client service. Located in almost every financial center across the United States—New York, Connecticut, California, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Miami, and more--our clients deploy billions of dollars of capital and expect situation-tested expertise, industry knowledge, access to market intelligence and timely response to questions and requests.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Develop an understanding of the CRZ audit approach, methodology and tools.
• Interact with and respond to client requests professionally and responsively.
• Communicate information concisely and effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans
• Illustrate budgets and schedules
• Execute components of audit under remote service delivery model in an effective and efficient manner.
• Demonstrate maturity, poise and self‐confidence in managing self and dealing with colleagues.
• Participate in technical training, formal and on the job.
• Demonstrate the firm values of quality, integrity, innovation, collegiality, caring and collaboration.
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CRZ team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership
  

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
• Financial Services Experience Preferred
• Chartered Accountant, CPA
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as or ProSystem FX
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
