The Air Logistics Operational Care Center (OCC) Manager is responsible for driving the OCC strategy through the delivery of customer-centric, high-quality operational execution, while optimizing cost and profitability. The role requires a solution-oriented and technology-driven approach to ensure sustainable, efficient, and optimized management of all OCC activities. The OCC Manager will lead, coach, and develop the OCC team, fostering a high-performance culture, and actively support business development initiatives by contributing operational solutions and procurement alignment in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
How you create impact
Lead the Operational Care Center (OCC) by example, acting as a role model and setting clear standards for performance, professionalism, and customer focus.
Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to the OCC organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Drive operational excellence through consistent, high-quality service delivery in line with customer promises across all OCC activities.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support pricing strategies, procurement initiatives, and business growth.
Maximize profitability through effective cost optimization, efficiency initiatives, and sustainable operational solutions.
Lead teams and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency while maintaining high service quality.
Drive procurement and supplier management in line with governance models between gateways and the OCC.
Partner with Customer Service teams to build customer insight, share feedback, and continuously improve service execution.
Work cross-functionally with KNGS, gateway, warehouse, customs, optimization teams, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure full utilization of technology and systems, supported by effective team structures and knowledge-sharing practices to deliver consistent service.
Monitor, analyze, and review OCC performance metrics regularly to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, industry and product standards, and KN policies and guidelines.

Strong leadership capability with proven experience managing high‑performance operational teams.
Deep knowledge of freight forwarding, operational processes, and import/export regulations.
Ability to drive operational excellence, service quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong financial acumen with experience in cost optimization, process efficiency, and supplier governance.
Excellent stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and communication skills with strong system proficiency.
