Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Assist in the implementation of system updates and enhancements to improve overall application stability.

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL), Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with MySQL, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL), Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
• Strong understanding of database management and query optimization techniques.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in production environments.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and monitoring tools for relational databases.

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PostgreSQL.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
